A man has been accused of elder abuse against actress Edie McClurg, who lives with dementia, by representatives of a conservatory that McClurg belongs to.

Ramos is unemployed and is reported to have “finded” himself in McClurg’s life. He lives in her house, according to court documents.

Ramos is also charged in court documents with sexually abusing a caretaker for McClurg, and the alleged incident has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to court documents, McClurg’s carer said they were concerned that Ramos may have sexually abused McClurg, who may have been unaware of what was happening during her ongoing battle with dementia.

Conservatory representatives have asked the judge in the case to force Ramos out of the house, after the judge previously allowed Ramos to stay there to provide company to the actress.

McClurg’s family searched the conservatory in February 2019 and told the court that the actress was living with a man who was verbally abusive and wanted to manipulate her estate by getting her legal documents signed, TMZ reported at the time.

Family members of McClurg told the court that the actress was “particularly vulnerable to undue influence given her poor judgment and marked dementia” and that neurological tests she had undergone showed she was unable to live on her own without assistance.

McClurg has been in show business for nearly 50 years, as she has appeared on TV shows including Tony Orlando and Dawn, The Richard Pryor Show, Harper Valley PTA and WKRP in Cincinnati.

She has also done voice work in films such as The Little Mermaid, The Rugrats Movie, A Bug’s Life and Cars.
