Speculation about the rumors of pro wrestling is a favorite pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors spreading through the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that – rumours. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestler rumor mill. We track the accuracy of rumors in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back which you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the day:

  • PW Insider says one of the big changes that have taken place within WWE recently has been the easing of restrictions on wrestler promotions. They can improvise more.

  • That apparently includes matches as they also include the Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus match got to hear SmackDown last week had a lot of them called into the ring rather than pre-planned.
  • Fightful Select notes that, unsurprisingly, there is a lot of optimism within WWE and even beyond around Triple H now running Creative. Morale is high right now.

  • On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said Ronda Rousey is booked for the Clash in the castle PPV, so her suspension won’t last long.
  • A recent AEW trademark application for “All Elite Women” has sparked speculation that a new women’s show will be made on the list.
