Skoda has tested the patience of customers interested in the latest Czech model. The Enyaq Coupé iV was presented at the beginning of this year, in the spring it was possible to see how the Czech novelty drives for the first time and only shortly, in October, will he start selling the car. But it was worth the wait. The latest Enyaq Coupé iV will certainly meet the expectations of those for whom a spacious interior is just as important as the dynamic silhouette of the body, which breaks with the style of traditional SUVs.

Skoda Enyaq Coupé iV – new software, special “Battery Care” mode

As the new model goes on sale, making it possible to order the car, Skoda is introducing a new software package ME3 in its electric models. The new soft should optimize the range of vehicles and shorten the charging time, which translates into more comfort of electric Skoda use. It is important that users of the Enyaq iVs already sold can also use them.

One of the new features introduced with the ME3 software is a special “Battery Care” mode. This not only increases the maximum payload, but also updates the graphics of the infotainment system and the digital cockpit, and further expands the mobile Skoda Connect services.

Skoda Enyaq Coupé iV – in Poland only with an 82 kWh battery, but also in the RS version

On the Polish market, the Czechs will only offer the Enyaqi Coupé iV with a battery with a capacity of 82 kWh (77 kWh net). There are two versions to choose from, namely 80 and 80x. The former delivers 150 kW of power and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.7 seconds, the latter has four-wheel drive, outputs 195 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds. 160 km/h maximum speed.

The RS version will crown the Enyaq Coupé iV series. It is also equipped with a 4×4 drive and a battery with a capacity of 82 kWh, but is distinguished by a power of 220 kW and an even better acceleration. After starting, we reach the speed of 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. Furthermore, the RS is the only Enyaq Coupé iV that accelerates to 180 km/h.

If someone has already driven the Enyaq iV, they will not feel much of a difference after switching to the new Enyaq Coupé iV. And it’s not surprising, because the changes practically only affected the rear part of the car. The Czechs emphasize that despite the sloping roof, the rear passengers will not complain about the amount of space above, which confirms the reality. The 15 liter lower luggage compartment volume is also difficult to see in practice.

What’s left? That’s all good. We have comfortable suspension, very comfortable seats, incredible quietness while driving and a number of solutions that help us drive comfortably and above all safely from point A to B. Many users will also appreciate the large amount of space for passengers in the rear seats, as well as the modernized display head-up that now presents more information. However, you’ll have to wait for sales to start to see if the latest Enyaq Coupé iV will tempt both in price and dynamic design.
